Question by Amanda: Is the sun more dangerous to look at during the Venus eclipse?
Not that anyone should look at the sun at any other time, but is it somehow more dangerous to look up at it as in last week's Venus eclipse as it is during a sun/moon eclipse? If so, why?
Best answer:
Answer by Star DustThere's virtually no difference. Venus did block an infinitesimally tiny bit of UV coming from the sun, but it would take a super-sensitive instrument to detect it. Don't look directly at the sun at any time.
