Solar Eclipse is going to Hit California on May 20, 2012 and The Moon is Going to Cross Over the Sun and when you look at the eclipse with your bare eye it will get blind don't ever look at the eclipse and the sky will be darkness since the moon is crossing the sun. This will be the Solar Eclipse to Hit California and the Total Eclipse will be at the Pacific Ocean. Wear your Special Glasses to Look at the Eclipse or your Eyes will be Blind.

Strange things never cease to happen. These things themselves make the world go round. Consider this: Many years ago, a solar eclipse happened in one primitive part of the earth. Can I photograph a total solar eclipse with a digital camera?

Question by : Can I photograph a total solar eclipse with a digital camera?
I have found tons of information about using an SLR or basic "point and shoot" cameras but not much on using a very basic digital camera (not a DSLR). This may sound completely stupid but I don't know much about this. Can I look at the eclipse using my view screen since you can't look at a partial eclipse directly? Do I need a special filter so I don't damage my camera? Any help and guidelines are greatly appreciated.

Answer by AndreasYou won't damage the camera, but the picture will likely be completely washed out, due to overexposure. Use a pinhole camera (look up plans online) to view the eclipse.

Its main building's roof is flat, there are two houses, and there is a church building with a really sloped roof. The roofs of the main building and the church building are at least 20 years old. You might do an RFP from http://www.powerfilmsolar.com They produce a standing seam steel roof system that generates power- this might be an option for roofs that might not enough margin built in for the extra weight of an array of panels.
