Answer by AlanJuly 11th 2010, the time depends on what time zone you live in.
What to do? well the eclipse is in the south pacific so you need to get on a ship if you want to see it, there are plenty of cruise ships going to the eclipse but they might all be booked up by now.
I suggest you search the internet, if there are no tickets left try for a cancellation, otherwise you will have to hire a long range jet plane and that's expensive

Answer by GillianI am 99.9% sure you can, but don't look at the sun with your eye when recording it. The video may or may not come out good but just make sure not to look at it with your eye.
