Increasing Personal (And Global) Well-Being With Sacred Geometry
Sacred geometry is the study of the forms and patterns that shape creation. Its teachings come from the philosophers and mystics of ancient Egypt and Greece, who sought to understand how the world came to be by investigating the archetypal numbers and shapes found in nature. Why do salt crystals form as cubes? Why are snowflakes and honeycomb cells always 6-sided? Why are certain musical intervals such as an octave or a fifth pleasing to the ear? The answers provide insight into the order behind creation. The study of sacred geometry is not only an intellectual endeavor-it invites us to participate in the act of creation. Using only a compass and a straight edge, we become the creators, weaving intricate, beautiful designs out of simple lines and curves. The drawing exercises explore the interrelationships of the archetypal shapes (circle, triangle, square) from which everything is built. We discover that, as embodiments of creation ourselves, we carry within us an inherent knowledge of the forms and patterns that define reality.Detailed below are six principles of creation revealed by sacred geometry and how they can increase our sense of connection and well-being. When we feel increased well-being, it is inevitably shared by all those around us, and soon the world is a better place for everyone.UnityWhether a seed, an egg, or an atom, all forms are born from the circle, the perfect never-ending curve that is known around the world as a symbol of Unity, the One, the Universal Whole. Each of us, as well as every plant, animal, or rock that we encounter, is one of the infinite facets of the universal whole. Like a prism refracting light into a rainbow of color, the circle is the gateway through which the single source of being passes to reveal the rich diversity of nature.PolarityCreation is the way that the universal whole comes to understand itself. As a singular point of oneness, there is (literally!) no space for it to get some perspective. On the impulse for self-knowledge, the One projects outward to gaze back at itself, as though looking in a mirror. One point has now become two, connected along a straight line, but like the two poles of a magnet, the pair are irresistibly attracted, since they are actually the same. The polarity of the line reminds us that, though our perception of separation and difference can be powerfully convincing, we are truly all of the same essence, each with our own link back to the whole.OrderThe vast diversity of creation can often seem random and chaotic, yet the symmetry and patterning of geometric forms speaks otherwise. Crystals are one of nature's most exquisite displays of geometry, and their perfect lines are made possible only by the precise aligning of millions of identical molecules into orderly rows. Similarly, triangles, squares, and hexagons fit precisely together to create perfectly repeating patterns (tilings), which we make use of in everything from bathroom tile to checkered shirts. Question by doublepow: Where to buy glasses to watch solar eclipse in Delhi?
If you know, please tell. These glasses are special filter glasses, like dark glasses, with which we can watch the solar eclipse without harming our eyes.
Thanks.

Answer by Singer101I have never seen one of those except in the movie Twitches. It is actually very dangerous to look at the sun during a solar eclipse anyway.

What area of the August 2017 solar eclipse has the least average yearly cloud cover?
by Stargazer95050
Question by Ted: What area of the August 2017 solar eclipse has the least average yearly cloud cover?
I am planning to view the Solar eclipse on August 21 2017 but want to view it from a location that is unlikely to have cloud cover on the day of the eclipse.
This site has maps of the path of totality for the eclipse
http://www.hermit.org/Eclipse/2017-08-21/
I am trying to find the sunniest location for the eclipse based on yearly averages of sun and clouds for different locales.
Can you find websites that show average cloud cover for these areas during August?

Answer by John BMy vote is for Idaho. August in the Pacific Northwest is generally nice, but Idaho has hotter, drier days - less clouds.

Follow: @SlateViral, Facebook.com/SlateVideo Watch: YouTube.com/Slatester, SlateV.com Keep your eyes to the skies this weekend—a special solar eclipse is headed our way. The annular eclipse, which has the moon getting directly in the way of our view of the sun on Sunday, is the first of its kind since 1994. But it won't be a total eclipse because the moon is closer to Earth than usual; instead you'll see a ring of fire around the moon. The phenomenon happens twice a year, but is usually only visible by a small fraction of the Earth's surface. This eclipse will be visible in China and Japan on May 21 and for the first time in 18 years by continental western states, California, Nevada, and Arizona, but not the East Coast, where the sun will have already set. Those in the Northeast will have to wait for the total eclipse in 2017. For those who will get a glimpse of the annular eclipse this weekend, though, don't forget mom's advice. If you don't have a solar filter, a pinhole projector, or some special solar-safe viewing glasses, you better refrain from staring—otherwise the next eclipse might be a lot harder to see.

Total Solar Eclipse & New Moon in Cancer & Second Jupiter Conjunction With Chiron
There is so much going on in the skies, pointing us into the direction of a deeper understanding of where we are in our life, helping to gain more clarity and a higher level of consciousness.Solar Eclipses Speak to our Soul!
With the Solar Eclipse right in front of our eyes, we do know something auspicious is going on and we might feel touched by the magnificence of the universe and its mysterious ways of working. I live on Maui and when I look up at the night sky I can actually see the stars. I love doing that! I also have a good friend who loves to travel with her husband to Solar Eclipses around the world; he actually proposed to her on one of their first trips! So what is going on with Solar Eclipses? Why is it obviously touching our soul and spirit? What is actually happening when a Solar Eclipse happens?Total Solar Eclipse
When the Sun is covered up by the Moon we will experience total darkness! I remember watching my first Solar Eclipse as a small child and feeling pretty unsettled by the darkness in the middle of the day. I am sure Solar Eclipses have been watched with dread throughout the ages. After all the Sun was perceived as the bringer of light and life on our planet earth and was known in its significance and its impact onto our lives here. The light of the Sun as source of our consciousness being gone would have been taken as a bad omen. But then how wonderful when the Sun reemerges, distributing the life giving force! And with it a new cycle of understanding and expansion of consciousness and life!Today we know all about the reasons for eclipses happening and we know exactly where and when we will be able to see it. Still it has not taken away much from the mystery of it and the sense of something significant happening.A Lunar and a Solar Eclipse in Opposing Signs this Month
Eclipses are very potent Full and New Moons! They are said to bring the shadow side of the opposing and the sign it is in to the foreground of our consciousness. With the Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn on July 7th and the Solar Eclipse in Cancer on July 21/22 we will for sure have a chance to look deeper into that shadow but into the wonderful possibilities of integration as well.We could say that this ax of Cancer and Capricorn could expose immaturity, denial, martyrdom and self-indulgence for Cancer or dominance, control, giving away our power to authority out there and not taking on responsibility for our own life for Capricorn.Cancer is seen as the most feminine water sign symbolizing the divine mother, live giving and life affirming. Capricorn is seen as the fatherly guiding principle of authority. We are living in a time where prejudice based on sex or skin color

From the dawn of time Nature's majestic firework display of a full solar eclipse has created awe and wonder in all who witness such a natural and stunning event. Before science began to explain the journey and paths of planets in the solar system and their circumnavigation around the Sun, the common belief amongst most cultures was of the end of days and portents to war, pestilence and famine.Today solar eclipse travel, solar eclipse pictures beamed by television across the world and animated solar eclipse graphics showing over the Internet and other media, have enabled a deep understanding of this awesome natural wonder to completely lose its earlier held mystical and demonic attachments.A rare solar eclipse, called a hybrid solar eclipse, is where seemingly the sun and the moon appear to exactly coincide. One of the last solar eclipse to create this effect was in 2005.In 2013 there will be both an annular and total solar eclipse hybrid which will pass through the Greenwich Meridian at 0
