Solar Energy - A Source of Renewable Energy
No matter if you believe in global warming or not, everyone is looking for new sources of energy. One way is the sun. It's free, does not contaminate the land, water or air and we have an limitless supply of it. Solar power is a resource that anyone everywhere in the world can use. Sure there are areas of this planet that receive more sun than others but every part of the earth receives sunlight. Even on a cloudy day there is sunlight.Think about what it would do for our energy requirements if we could get 10% of our energy from the sun. We could reduce the amount of coal fired electrical generation by the same 10%. And think what solar power can do for those third world nations that don't have any defined system for generating electricity today. They could begin to generate electricity from solar power today without the incredible expense of building large electric generating plants. So the question is, if solar energy is a free resource that can be used by anyone, why haven't we already made large scale use of it? The answer is complex but in simple terms, the generation of electricity through traditional means has been too cheap. This is all going to change as we move further into the 21st century. Concerns about global warming will create new laws on traditional means of generating electricity. At some point in time the cost of generating electricity from traditional means will eclipse the cost of generating it from solar power. When this time comes, solar power will become much more wide spread. What if you want to get ahead of the curve by using solar power today? You can buy commercial solar panels though they are very expensive. Or, you can build the solar panels today. The technology is simple enough and you can use easily obtainable materials to build them.Either way, you can have solar panels today. Installing them will help you cut your electrical bill and will save you money in the long haul. While you are saving money you will be helping out the planet. For every unit of energy you receive from solar panels you cut the amount of energy that is produced using traditional methods. If you decide to do it yourself you can go online and Google a phrase such as "how to build solar panel" and you will find information that will give you easy to follow instructions. You can also find chat groups online who are dedicated to solar power. These groups are an amazing resource for any questions that you might have as you create your own clean energy solution. I hope that you will look into the idea of adding solar panels to your business or home. It's time each of us stepped up to the plate and did our part in creating renewal energy.

People ask me all the time, "Fetch, why don't you come up with a book or something, so that we can read this at home and try to figure it out." I often just shrugg and say, "Think about it. I am trying to recreate in one lifetime the entire esoteric coding of the Mystery Schools as their system has been refined over thousands of years, utilyzing hundreds of number and archetypical constructions that become unfathomable sets of possible permutations, and commit this all to writing so as to make it make sense in a world that traditionally views such knowledge as "crackpot numerology."What is necessary is to create a series of connections, and these connections must be so cleverly crafted such that they make rational sense inspite of what the eye is telling the viewer. In essence, we are taking an optical illusion set in words, and exposing how this optical illusion set into words is functioning such that the viewer is able to ascertain how the magic trick has been crafted.Where do you start? Pi? The Alphabet? Pythagorean Numbers? Saedre Shamanism? Mythological Parallels across the globe? Afterall, most cultures share a Deluge story, or a tale akin to "Cain and Abel". Clearly there is a Universal element to the mythologies, and this then hints to a Universal structure or skeleton to their crafting. But where do you start when there is no clear beginning and no clear ending? You can jump into a construct based on Pi, but the deeper you go into the Construct, the more transcendent and irrational sounding the whole appears even when in truth we are dealing with hyper-rationality. It is Yin of Yin and Yang of Yang; what appears burning is really severe frost bite, and what appears chilled is really a severe burn, so we apply a blanket to the severely burned patient and we apply heat to that which appears as frost "burning".So what then of 11:11? It is a Number? Nigh. It is the "Key Number".Well, the sun has a sun spot cycle of 11 years.111111111 x 111111111 = 12345678987654321 The total solar eclipse of August 11th 1999 was at 11.11 AM, GMT WW1 ended on the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month There are 11 players on the field for each team in football, soccer and cricket. 11 is the number of spacetime dimensions in M-theory. The number of guns in a gun salute to U.S. Army, Air Force and Marine Corps Brigadier Generals, and to Navy and Coast Guard Rear Admirals Lower Half is 11. The number eleven is important in numerology, as it is the first of the Master Numbers. In tarot, card no. 11 is 'Justice'. After the date September 11, there are 111 days left in

Annular solar eclipse lights up sky 16th 1st 2010 Thousands of people across the world have turned to the skies, to watch the longest annular solar eclipse in a thousand years. Some countries were able to see the full annular eclipse in which the moon blocked the sun, causing a ring of light. The 'ring' could be seen from central Africa, the Maldives, southern India, northern Sri Lanka, Mynamar and in China. Some countries in Eastern Europe and the Middle East saw a partial eclipse. The celestial phenomenon was a once in a lifetime event - another eclipse of that duration is not expected to happen until the year 3042. However, astronomers predict a shorter annular eclipse will take place on May 20 in 2012. The first Solar eclipse of the new year 2010 happened on January 15, 2010 with a maximum central duration of 11 minutes 8 seconds visible across Central Africa, the Indian Ocean, India, Sri Lanka and South East Asia.

Relationship Shuffle - Eclipses Spring 2012

Relationship Shuffle - Eclipses Spring 2012
May 20th and June 4th, 2012. It's that time of the year again! Eclipses occur twice a year and usually come in pairs. Our upcoming eclipses, consisting of an annular solar eclipse in Gemini and a partial lunar eclipse in Sagittarius, will be rather mild compared to previous ecliptic events. Eclipses bring changes. Even though our eclipses may be mild, there will be other stellar events, including Venus' retrograde and an outer planet square, that could amplify these changes. Because these eclipses will be occurring during Venus' retrograde, relationships and finances may suffer. Many believe that eclipse energy is 10 times more powerful than a normal full or new moon. Some practitioners of magic set aside eclipse time to cleanse their tools and cast their spells. Full moon lunar eclipses are a very good time for banishing and cleansing away negative energy. New moon solar eclipses can help in manifesting desires. It's an excellent time to ask the universe for what you need. Our eclipse on May 20th will be a New Moon solar eclipse in Gemini, on the cusp between Taurus and Gemini. With Venus turning retrograde in their sign only 5 days earlier, those with dominate Gemini in their charts will probably feel the brunt of this eclipse. There could also be upsets for Pisces with the eclipse squaring off with Neptune. This eclipse will be at 0 degrees 21 minutes, and Gemini's at 0 degrees really love change. In general, our lives could get very scattered around this time. Don't sign any contracts or make any life changing decisions until the effects of this eclipse has passed. Also, avoid euphoric substances, or Neptune may encourage you to "drink yourself into the gutter."The eclipse on June 4th could create even more problems. It will reside at 14 degrees 8 minutes in Sagittarius. Being a lunar eclipse, it will occur when the Moon opposes the Sun, and this opposition will generate a T-square with Mars and Venus. With the Sun and Moon in Gemini and Sagittarius (two signs not known for being faithful), and because Venus will be doing her retrograde thing, this fight with Mars could bring major relationship upsets, especially for Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius. We may be tempted to stray from our commitments. For some of us, this will turn out to be a personal test of our willpower (brains versus hormones). For others, we could be dealing with disappointments. How will these eclipses affect you? First off look to see what houses they will occupy in your chart. Then look to see if they will aspect any of your planets or power points. If you have any planets between 28 and 2 degrees in any sign, they will probably be aspected by the solar eclipse on May 20th. If you have any planets between 12 and 16 degrees, they will probably be aspected by the lunar eclipse on June 4th. Also take a look at the number of planets
Shoot video of solar eclipse damage camera?
by NASA Goddard Photo and Video
Question by : Shoot video of solar eclipse damage camera?
As some of you may know, there is a solar eclipse today and I would like to shoot it with my Canon T2i. I am going to use a zoom lens and UV filter. I see people shoot video of the sun all of the time and there is no problems, but some websites say it will damage the camera.
How long can I shoot video of the sun before it will begin to possibly damage the camera?
Edit: And not just taking a picture, shooting a full length video of it.
Best answer:
Answer by jester126It shouldn't damage your camera but I would say once you take the picture take it away from the sun right after.
