Recorded near my house in Los Angeles, Southern California with Solar eclipse glasses. Here's a video showing the partial solar eclipse happening over Los Angeles on May 20, 2012. It covers 86 percent of the sun at approx 6:38pm. I was planning on going to the famous Griffith Observatory to watch the Solar eclipse with thousands of other videos. I changed my mind because I didn't want to battle the traffic going up there. Don't forget the Transit of Venus happening on June 5-6 2012. This is the first major partial eclipse to happen in Los Angeles since 2002. My dog was also looking at the Solar Eclipse.
