Since the satellites require a 24 hour sunlight for energy, what happens to it when it experience a eclipse when the earth comes between sun and the satellite?

Answer by jaiFirst of all know a fact that the satellite (as well as many solar powered objects) do not use electricity from the solar panels directly , the electricity from the panels are taken to the storage area , mainly rechargeable cells where they are stored and utilised , the reason for the use of storage cells are two , they are,
1) the magnitude of electricity produced by solar panels by photoelectric effect is not constant and varies from time to time , if this varying current is supplied to the satellite , the circuits will surely damage and
2) they obtain electricity from the cells during eclipses or when the earth comes inbetween the sun and the earth,
so with these storage cells they can work for sometime without the use of solar energy, if it run out , the satellite becomes disabled and becomes enabled once again when it gets solar power! further its a fact of minutes that the satellites experience the eclipses than the earth! All the best!
