Question by pimbroke: Who knows the best place to find good time sequenced pics of or suns spectrum?
I want good color shots of solar spectrum as far back as they go. I know someone knows out there.

Answer by Macho McmanlyNot sure what you mean by spectrum. If you want to see the solar spectrum, it's represented by a consistent diagram of absorption lines found here: http://www.noao.edu/image_gallery/html/im0600.html

If you're just looking for a spinning sun in different spectra (which are only "color" shots because they are false colors chosen by scientists), then maybe below is where you should look.

Live, streaming data on the sun in UV is always coming from STEREO: http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/stereo/main/index.html
^That mission also has a live app for iPhone that allows you to choose other wavelengths of light as well.
