Answer by gracien69Well Jamie, criticism aside ...I'm an car enthusiast not known for "opinions" but I will offer fact for that matter. The "Mitsu" was a Chrysler captive import on the now defunct Eagle side, due to slow sells Plymouth Laser exited from previous years and the Eagle line was discontinued in 1998 leaving just the Mitsubishi Eclipes model line-up for sale. Your 2nd gen RS model came with a DOHC Chrysler unit, and these cars are not known for reliability.
Lowering it that much more will mean aggravating future problems with more intense bumps, vibrations, and rattles. So if your Eclipes is reliable to you... do you really want to mess with a good thing?
Did you know a short run of 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipes will be sold?
Production of these models ended in August 2011. Mitsubishi executives plan to stay in the US market with just two of its best sellers... the Endeavor and Lancer platforms.

EDIT : Buy a SE VENDE sign.
