Q&A: Does anyone know wh you can see the solar eclipse in Michigan?

Question by MISSTHANG!: Does anyone know wh you can see the solar eclipse in Michigan?

Best answer:
Answer by kumorifoxYes, but partial only, in the early morning.

What do you think? Answer below!

The sun sets over Lake Michigan with a solar eclipse underway on May 20, 2012. This celestial marvel is a prelude to the rare 2012 transit of Venus on June 5, 2012 (www.transitofvenus.org). Be prepared with proper solar filtered devices for looking safely at the sun. Video shows partial solar eclipse beginning around 8:15 pm EDT with the sun about six degrees above the western horizon, and continuing to about 9:00 pm EDT, when the seemingly crescent sun sets conjoined to the moon. Green line is distant horizon, near which the sun appears to elongate.
