Q&A: What is a partial eclipse of the sun? What is a annular eclipse of the sun?

Question by : What is a partial eclipse of the sun? What is a annular eclipse of the sun?
Please help my text book does not have the answers and I cannot find it on google. First and correct answer gets chosen as best.

Answer by poornakumar bPartial eclipse of the sun is when it looks like the Moon in Crescent shape; gradually increasing to a maximum and reversing the same manner.
Annular Eclipse is when Sun appears as a (hollow, dark) ring. Normally it occurs at Earth's Perihelion in (northern) winter, when Moon's Apogee coincides.
