Question by crimmsonandclover: Chinese, Mayan, Babylonians,Hebrews, and NASA weigh in on the 2012 and the Eclipse?
The Black" moon (that is, when the moon is in conjunction with the sun), not the first visible crescent used in the Islamic and Hebrew calendars. The date of a new moon is the first day of a new month.
2012 EVENTS
January 23 - Chinese New Year and scheduled new moon. This time of year is associated with the Water-Dragon in Chinese
NASA-May 20 - Annular solar eclipse, a Sunday.
November 13 - Total solar eclipse (visible in northern Australia and the South Pacific).
December 21 - The Long Count calendar used by the Maya civilization ends.
2012 (MMXII) will be a leap year starting on Sunday of the Gregorian calendar.

Does it mean anything?
We shall see...
