Best answer:
Answer by Kay TThese are the most recent eclipses we have had.

Last total Lunar eclipse February 21, 2008 - is eclipse was perfectly placed for observers throughout most of the Americas as well as western Europe.

Last total Solar eclipse August 1, 2008 - On Friday, 2008 August 01, a total eclipse of the Sun was visible from within a narrow corridor that traversed half the Earth. The path of the Moon's umbral shadow began in Canada and extended across northern Greenland, the Arctic, central Russia, Mongolia, and China. A partial eclipse was seen within the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which includes northeastern North America, most of Europe and Asia.

Partial Lunar eclipse August 16, 2008 - It was visibile primarily from the Eastern Hemisphere as well as eastern South America.

Annular Solar Eclipse January 26, 2009 - An annular eclipse was visible from a wide track that traversed the Indian Ocean and western Indonesia. A partial eclipse was seen within the much larger path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which included the southern third of Africa, Madagascar, Australia except Tasmania, southeast India, Southeast Asia and Indonesia.

Penumbral Lunar eclipse February 9, 2009 - Observers in western Canada and the USA had the best views with moonset occurring sometime after mid-eclipse. To catch the entire event, one had to be in Alaska, Hawaii, Australia, or East Asia.
