HOW DOES SOLAR PANELS WORK
The Solar panels include solar-powered calculators, solar cookers and etc. These Panels work on the same technology on which principal all chemical batteries and electronic gadgets works. All electrons freely flow through a circuit. Here is how does solar panels work:
You have definitely read about chemical reactions in your school days. Here we are going back to those days, to get know how does solar panels work.
To start with it we should know about the basic element of it which is also used in computers is silicon. It is not mixed up with any element, it is pure silicon. Silicon is only ready for electron transmission when it has 0% impurities. It has some properties which automatically attract it for creating solar plates. The combination of silicon atoms are used to create solar plates.
In solar plates there is not any positive or negative charge, so they never attract and because of this they are not able to generate electricity.
It can be possible when we add other elements to it which have some positive or negative charges. We can have Phosphorus because it has 5 electrons, it can give or offer to another element. Now it has one electron remain for negative charge but for electricity flow, it should have positive charge also. For this we can take boron, it have 3 electrons in which three can be offered to three silicon electron and one silicon electron remain with positive charge. When we put this under sunlight, the most particles which we want to use is photon because it acts like a hammer.
When the negative plates of solar panel are pointed by photons at a proper angel, it attacks on the silicon-phosphorus atoms. As we know that when silicon-phosphorus atoms combined, there are 9 electrons, so when this reaction starts under the sun, the ninth electron gets off from the outer ring. But this can
