Q&A: How come the moon isn't blocked by earth when it's a full moon?


Question by fadedcupid: How come the moon isn't blocked by earth when it's a full moon?
A lunar eclipse and a full moon look the same in my diagram that shows the position of the moon relative to the earth and the sun. I know I used to understand this concept but today it baffles me.

Answer by Renee Cisnt it because the sun is not behind the earth and shining fully on the moon???
and your night time because the sun is on the other half of the world??
