Question by R G: Is it OK to expose the camera to Sun Light ?
I took pictures of the Solar Eclipse today and I did use a filter on many occasions. But, there was one that I took without. Please check the following link and let me know whether it's OK to take pics like this.

Answer by insiderYou risk damaging your camera by focussing the sun on your sensor.....you wouldn't be the first to write off a camera doing it. And if it's an SLR or DSLR, damaging your retina, too.
But if your camera shows no ill effects and you're not seeing a blurred spot in your vision, you got away with it.
(BTW nobody else seems to have problems putting links in questions.)
