Question by : How can I view the May 20th, 2012 solar eclipse?
I really have never seen a solar eclipse. I really don't have anything to view it with. Can I use my camera to record it? Will my camera get damaged? What can I do?
Best answer:
Answer by VanessaYes, you can use your camera and no, it will not damage it. The only thing is that when/while you are recording do not look at the sun. Record without looking.
You can make a homemade Solar Eclipse View to view the solar eclipse. It is very simple to make. All you need is a shoebox, a square of tinfoil, and a piece of white paper. Check the link below for further instructions. http://www.space.com/15752-solar-eclipse-viewer.html
